MX Check

Enter domain name and click "MX Records".

Lookup the MX records for a domain.

MX stands for "mail exchanger" record. It is a type of resource in the DNS system that lists what mail server is used for a domain. If multiple mail servers are available, the record might include the priority rating of each mail server.

Priority

Preference ordering specifies that some mail servers should be tried first before others, with the lowest number being attempted first. Setting each server to have the same priority will have the affect of more a equal load balancing, as opposed to sequential attempts with different priority values.

MX Tool

The utility uses nslookup to get the MX records for your domain.
